Computing at BUCFP
In 2003, BUCFP greatly revamped it's computer facilities. The first stage was to install a high quality broadband connection which has vastly improved people's experience of using the Interent in terms of both speed and reliability. The next stage was to replace half of the computers at the centre so that now we have a full suite of reliable and fast systems. In addition, we were able to update both the Operating systems to Windows XP to further improve stability and also all of the application software so that students and computer users are able to learn and work on up to date systems and to gain skills and experience in modern software.

This has been a vast improvement to our previously ailing suite and so far, we are still able to only charge users nominal costs to use the facilities. We are hoping to raise funds to be able to continue to offer such a service.
