The Unemployed Centre runs a free creche for carers of people using the Centre, whether they be centre users, volunteers or people attending a course. Further details can be found here.

In addition we run a Toy Library where toys can be borrowed for extended periods. Details are here.

The centre also arranges events throughout the year such as Christmas parties, outings and residential weekends for children and their carers. Please contact us or see our Annual Report for more details of these. The creche aims to promote diversity in terms of education of different cultures and abilities.

The childcare workers also work closely with our Temporary Housing area in order to support families as well as giving practical support such as laundry facilities, transport and donated equipment.
